The Port area of Altea, formed mainly by the Avenida del Puerto, part of the Calle La Mar and part of the Calle San Pedro, is a very sought after area due to the sea views from many of its properties. Next to the Paseo Marítimo San Pedro and Playa de la Roda, it has numerous shops, bars and restaurants; close to large supermarkets such as Consum and MasyMas. Altea has easy access by road, both by motorway and by the N-332 national road, but it is also connected by bus with the two provincial capitals and with Benidorm, as well as a TRAM service that connects it with Benidorm and Alicante. To reach Altea by road, you can take the N-332 main road or the AP-7 Mediterranean motorway, at exit 64. It has easy access to two airports: -El Altet, 57 Km away. -Manises, 140 km away.
